Trift Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Trift, a platform that connects load owners, transporters, fleet operators, drivers, and logistics job seekers.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Trift, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app or website.

2. Platform Role

Trift is a technology platform. Trift helps users discover transport opportunities, transporters, fleet services, and logistics talent. Unless clearly stated otherwise, Trift is not the transport carrier, employer, broker, insurer, or owner of the goods being transported.

3. User Responsibilities

Load owners must provide accurate pickup, delivery, goods, timing, budget, and contact details.
Transporters and drivers must keep licenses, vehicles, permits, and insurance valid and roadworthy.
Fleet operators are responsible for the accuracy of truck, document, driver, and job posting information.
Job seekers are responsible for ensuring their profile, experience, licenses, CV, and documents are accurate.

4. Loads, Bids, and Delivery Commitments

Users should only post genuine load requests and submit realistic bids. Transporters and load owners are responsible for honoring accepted arrangements, communicating clearly, and handling cancellations responsibly.

5. Payments and Pricing

Estimated prices shown in Trift are guidance only unless a final amount is accepted by the relevant users. Users remain responsible for confirming final payment terms, accepted budgets, and any extra charges before transport begins.

6. Safety and Legal Compliance

Users must not use Trift to arrange illegal transport, unsafe trips, fraudulent activity, harassment, or movement of prohibited goods. Users must comply with applicable road, customs, insurance, licensing, and transport laws.

7. Documents and Verification

Trift may allow users to upload vehicle documents, licenses, qualifications, and supporting files. Uploading documents does not guarantee approval, employment, verification, insurance coverage, or acceptance by another user.

8. Account Suspension or Termination

Trift may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create safety concerns, misuse the platform, provide false information, repeatedly cancel without cause, or engage in fraud or abuse.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trift is not liable for cargo damage, loss, theft, delivery delays, accidents, payment disputes, employment decisions, or user conduct outside Trift's direct control.
